The president Shen Jian funded minority students who are with financial difficulty and was hired as the eleventh phase tutor of the "sunshine education" program. In order to further implement the party's national policy, improve the comprehensive quality of minority students, to cultivate more talents of ethnic minorities, the sunshine education public welfare activities by the Shanghai municipal CPPCC National and Religious Committee, Shanghai City Federation of ethnic minorities, Shanghai Jiao Tong University Antai College of economics and management, Shanghai City Institute of behavioral science initiated, designed to help Shanghai college poverty minority students complete their studies, to achieve better development in life. Up to now, eleven stages have been successfully held, and more than 160 students have been helped.

Despite his busy work, Shen is still actively responding, taking time to participate in the activities and rewarding the society with his own kindness. The plan of "sunshine education" is different from the general charitable donation in terms of concept and form. The real concern is not only to solve the difficulties at present, but also to match the mentors and students, to participate in the guidance of students' learning and career planning, to recommend internships and employment opportunities for students, to enhance students' social adaptability and to promote their life development.
