Wen Hui Academy of Painting and Calligraphy sets research, inheritance, communication and development, carry forward the traditional Chinese painting and calligraphy art for the purpose.  Shanghai Municipal Cultural Bureau is the management bureau for the Academy.  The registration authority is the Civil Affairs Bureau of Shanghai city. Famous painting artists gather at the Academy.  More than eighty highly respected artists  for example, Cao Yongping, Xia Shunkui, etc. and young artists like su Chunsheng, Shi Zuoxiong Li Weiding, Xu Cheng are in the Academy.  They used soulful ink to create amazing art pieces.  With the heritage and revival of traditional culture, the artists have made their own contributions to the prosperity and development of traditional Chinese calligraphy and painting.
